For those of you unfamiliar with the Girl Scouts, it is one of the longest-running youth organizations (over 100 years!) focused on leadership development for girls. With nearly two million members around the world, to say that it is the leading organization in this domain is an understatement.

One important area the Girls Scouts program focuses on is STEM. Members who participate in its STEM programs learn not only how to become better problem-solvers, but also how science, technology, engineering, and math can be used to make the world a better place.

Recently, we were fortunate enough to be invited to bring Cozmo to the Girls Scouts of Orange County’s second annual STEM Expo at California State University. There, 450 Girls Scouts, parents, and others were able to learn about Cozmo, his robotics technology, and how Code Lab and the SDK can be used in STEM education. Suffice it to say, Cozmo was a big hit.

We’d like to give a sincere thanks to everyone at the Girl Scouts of Orange County for giving us the opportunity to take part in their wonderful event. (And for the delicious Girl Scouts cookies!)

That’s a wrap! 🙂
