Vector Updates Coming Soon!

With Christmas just around the corner, big things are coming for our newest robot, Vector!
We announced the launch of Vector this summer; many of you have already welcomed Vector into your homes and are part of a growing community of people who are supporting us in our vision to create characterful home robots. Since its official launch last month, Vector, The Good Robot, has already:
- Received over 5 million voice queries
- Performed 700K fist bumps
- Hosted 227K dance parties
- Traveled 1,800 miles
This is only the tip of the iceberg for Vector. He is cloud-connected, so your robot is always learning and improving with new features and ways for you to engage with him. Our update scheduled for later this month will include new animations, new features, and numerous improvements to voice commands, cliff detection, and more.
You may also remember from a previous post that one of the most requested features for Vector is optional integration with Alexa. We’ve been working with Amazon to make it happen and are excited to share that Vector owners in the UK will be able to access the knowledge and utility of Amazon’s voice service from early 2019. Simply talk to Vector like you’d talk to Alexa to schedule reminders, search for information, control smart home devices, and more.
We are truly committed to making Vector the most engaging and entertaining robot you’ve ever interacted with. Next year we will be launching more updates, taking us further on our journey to make the future of robotics a reality!
