Once the app gets Vector going, you’ll want to keep it around for things like seeing what he’s doing, checking the photos you have him take, reviewing the people he’s met, or getting suggestions on how to use a voice command. The Vector app is there to help you when you need help with Vector.
Getting started
How do I set up Vector?
Vector is a WiFi-connected device and while Vector should work in most people’s homes, everyone’s network is different. Where you locate Vector can impact how well he’ll perform, so pick a location for him that’s relatively quiet and close to your router or WiFi access point. Also it’s not the strength of your WiFi signal, but the quality of the connection, so congested or intermittent connections won’t allow Vector to work his best. If you do have issues and need to contact us, please have most of the details of where you’re using him and your WiFi network ready. For further information on setting up Vector, see this FAQ.
What else should I know?
You can find an assortment of FAQs in our Help Center that will help you get going. If you run into any issues, try looking in the section “Troubleshoot”.

Does Vector have Amazon Alexa and Google Assistant integration?

Simply talk to Vector like you’d talk to Alexa and schedule reminders, search for information, control smart home devices, and more. Alexa is opt-in. Users who do choose to opt in will need an Amazon account. For more info, see this FAQ.
